Women’s Day

Many people say that we are already living in a woman’s world. While some say that
women are not getting enough and that we still need to try and work a lot towards women
empowerment.

Generally, a lot happens around Women’s day. We get to see discounts, sales, offers, hampers, competitions, slogans and quotes and so on, in the month of March. Yet, do we really need it?
It is always an excellent idea to lunch or dine with your girlie group and have some fun time. It is also great for your wallet to spend less yet buy more! However, is it all about buying and eating? Are we being categorized as spendthrifts and voracious eaters?

Well, we are definitely much more than that! I feel we must realize our self-worth! It is better late than never! If you are a woman (or a girl) who has constrained yourself, now is the best time to overcome those constraints! The best way to overcome your repression is to meet (or catch up) with a friend who is non-judging and will walk you along the
path to liberation. A friend who will guide you to identify your strong points and personality (yes, many
people are yet to discover their personalities!). Apart from this, she will do some homework on the
avenues which may be best suited for you. I do promote self-liberation and self-help because nothing can beat the happiness you feel after self-realization and self-liberation! I think that is all in your mind!

Being a woman myself, I feel, that the borders you draw, the limits you set, the dreams you dream and
chase are all a part of the mind game. A woman who works for a daily wage may be much more empowered than a rich woman stuck at home, attending kitties! The word “Beautiful” is a misnomer,
like many others. It is not the beauty of the skin or the figure that should be appreciated but the loving,
tender and strong heart of the woman that should be handled with care.

The size “0”, size XS, the myriad of fairness creams and fitness classes all direct women on the wrong path! The women who feel that they cannot walk this path are left feeling depressed or guilty! They end up eating the wrong food to become fatter or clammier.

I am sure many of the women in this category fail to look at their actual
powers and strengths! They fail to strengthen their niches and are left in battered conditions.

So many women may have withered away in this worn-out rat race! Lastly, I think it is also a woman’s responsibility to take care of herself and others! Men and women should divide the responsibility of taking care of the family!

It is observed that a woman runs her home the way she was brought up. It does not necessarily be in line with the way her husband was brought up! Children (our future) learn passively from their mothers.

Her thinking, her behavior, her mannerisms, all are etched in the young
minds. This means that a woman is the sculptor of tomorrow.

Such is the impact of a woman! So, woman, rise and shine! Liberate yourself! It is all in your mind! It is your determination to break
shackles! You are beautiful if you think you are!

You are the pillar of strength if you believe you are strong!

You can achieve heights only if you wish to achieve them!

Go grab the world!
